The extra large I ordered was so much too small that it is more like a size medium. Unfortunately, this means that the only next larger size won't fit either. Very unfortunate, because my dad loved the vest. Also unfortunate was the $8.99 I spent to have a product shipped that is NOT what is was supposed to be.

I usually wear a size "L" classic cut shirt (16" neck, 37"-38" waist) and a size 43R to 44R in a classic fit suit/sport coat. So following the sizing chart, I first ordered a size "L" suede vest. When I received it, I LOVED the vest, but It was so small I could not even get the snaps close enough to snap together. I gave the "L" vest as a Christmas gift to a friend who normally wears an "S" or "M", and reordered an "XL" for myself. When I received the "XL", it fit VERY SNUG to be on the verge of being uncomfortable in a way that would not allow me to put on even a couple of pounds. I am exchanging the "XL" for a "2XL," hoping that this "third try" will work out with an acceptable fit. Other than this sizing issue, I cannot say anything adverse about this item: great look, great feel and great quality for a remarkably reasonable price!

I wear a 42" pant, and 52" coat, this vest is so small I do not know if I will ever wear it.

I think the vest is a real nice vest, it fits a little tight, I normally wear an Extra Large I am glad that I order and 2 X but it is still tight, but think a 3 X wud be too large, it would also be nice if it was Suede front and back.. I had one made like this for myself while I was in the USN station in Ireland, had a tailor made suit of Suede, with vest, it finally got to worn out to wear anymore and gave it away!!

This is the THIRD Scully Suade Vest I've ordered for the men-folk on my birthday-Christmas lists!!! The first one has had his for a year and STILL loves it. Looks great on, wears well on lots of physiques, stylish and best of all, looks pricey but is way way affordable--such a great $$ deal!!
Will probably purchase more vests in other colors as birthdays and Christmas come again~
I'm in Western NC and have shopped at the store in Wichita and I've shopped the internet website also. Will DEFINITEY shop again with Sheplers--prices are very reasonable, sales are great, big inventory and best of all, the customer service people are 100% genuinely friendly and helpful.

I had asked if this product was made in the USA, the response I got was yes, after recieving the vest, I was very dissapointed to see it was made in China. I returned the vest. I try to only buy products made in the USA, the quality is better, they are the same price, or cheaper, and it helps support our economy. Please look for the made in USA label.

This vest is made so well and it looks great when you dress up or dress down. The price is so reasonable, its hard to believe how good it looks, it also goes with everything.

This review is more about the outstanding service I received from Sheplers than about the vest itself, although the vest is very nice - soft suede and beautiful style.
I had to reorder the vest twice because of size issues. First ordered a large which was too small, then an XL which was also too small, and finally the 2XL which fits me perfectly. On my last return I enclosed a note that since it was my fault for improper measuring I would be willing to pay the cost of shipping the 2XL to me. Sheplers did not ask for shipment payment, and in each instance I received the replacement vest in a very timely manner.
It is nice to deal with a company which obviously values customer service and support.

I ordered this vest for my husband who ordinarily wears a Large in size. It was much too small, so I returned it and ordered an XL The returned vest was nicely constructed . The new XL vest is poorly constructed--it is way long in the front, and short in the back. The area under the arms is way too long. This vest is too misshapen to wear at a family wedding occasion. I am returning this vest for credit as there is no time left to try again.
