I recently bought python boots and needed to protect them. I bought this product and followed the instructions, putting on two coats. Easy to do, no runs, looks great. I will buy more when I run low.

After I used it on my working/walking boots I went into the rain and my feet didn't become wet. So far it is working.

Scout Protect Spray was purchased to add liquid and scuff protection to the 'naked leather' of the Tekno Crepe Pecan Taurus Justin boots, as I want to maintain their natural leather appearance. My concern about applying any spray to the leather was discoloration. If applied with movement, the Scout Spray appears a tad darker, but dries to the original natural leather within 2 minutes with no residue.
I cannot vouch for the protective value of the Scout Spray yet, as I am very selective about the environment where my boots are worn.
So far, no water/liquid stains or scuff marks.
