love this hat for my husband with the puka shells. the fit it nice and it's sturdier than the other wire shaped hats.

I've purchased several hats over the years and this one definately seems to be a great value for the price. Feels great to wear, holds it's same and conforms easily. Normally I would not offer a review, as I feel too often it's a forum to complain, but am extremely please with this product and wanted to share.

What an awesome hat!! The breeze just blows right through this hat, but the sun stays out! I'd say it runs just a tad big, but the elastic sweatband helps make the fit feel just right! Even wear this hat playing golf with no issues. Easy to shape and can be shaped over and over again if you change your mind on how you like it. I do admit that I took off the puka shell band and replaced it with a band made of large darker wooden beads of varying length that is about the same diameter as the puka shell band. Looks way more masculine and always gets compliments! Especially from girls who say "you look like a country music star"!!

Just about to order my 2nd one. Great fit, nice looking, comfortable, good everyday hat for working outside. One minor issue (and the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) is that because it is a straw hat so it did dry out and break apart after only a year or two.

Jacksonsails falls apart
I really liked the hat, the fit is great, look is great, and it's very comfortable. It's my favorite sailing hat. Problem is; it it cheaply made and is falling apart. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

We bought this for our 19 year old daughter. She loves the look and fit of the hat and she's not a typical "country" girl so it would appeal to everyone.

I am so happy with this hat. It was just what I was looking for. I love the curved up edges and it is much sturdier than I expected. I expected a quality maybe like a costume hat, but I am so impressed and pleased . I liked that you don't have medium size, beause I would have been stuck on what size to get. I bought one for my daughter and one for her boyfried for christmas. The puca beads are nice, but I am thinking I am going to add a little SPARTAN (Michigan State University) flair to it. It is going to go great with the matching denim jackets I purchased. I will certainly recommend this hat and Sheplers . The staff on the phone were very helpful, efficient and courteous.

I did not like the band; cheap hats I have had had a better inside band which made the fit more comfortable. The style, shape was great! I have to figure out a better way for the band or it's going back.
