I have bought other Ariat products before, paddock boots , sandals and shoe boots, but this was my first pair of cowboy boots, and I was thrilled! I read the reviews and decided to listen to what most reviews were saying , "order a half size smaller than your normal shoe size", so I sent for a six. They were perfect! I bought them to wear as a motorcycle boot, but they were so comfortable, I wore them to school ( I teach 9th grade) almost everyday! They look great with dress slacks, jeans and long skirts. Extremely comfortable and offer great support. A very wise investment. : )

I love these boots. They are so pretty I was hesitant to use them for riding! I did end up riding in them and glad I did because they are super comfortable and slip in and out of the stirrups very easily for mounting and dismounting.

I got these boots to ride in primarily- with the longer shaft keeps stirrups and your pants from getting tangled, and spur ridge is useful (if you need it). I was looking for boots that weren't gawdy- seems like most chick boots are just absolutely hideous. I was looking for something that was relatively plain, for a fair amount of money.
You cannot beat the price- total was 150$ w/ shipping, etc. I saw the same boot elsewhere for @ the 300$ mark. (Locally, as well as at other online retailers). I DON'T like buying boots/shoes, etc online, but for the price- I had to take a chance and I'm glad I did!
I fallowed recommendation get get a half size smaller than my normal shoes, and fit great. At first I thought they didn't- but they come with a little insert telling you how they are supposed to fit initially (very handy if you aren't really a cowboy boot-wearing type of person). They weren't hard to break in at all- after a few days of wearing them they broke in nicely (getting better every time I wear them). The only issue I had in regards to braking them in, were the sides of the real seem to be stiffer and would kinda dig in a bit. Even still, had no blisters, etc.
They are easy to clean, and easy to pull on and off. They keep your feet relatively dry (not waterproof by any means)- trampling thru mud, etc- you can't sit in a puddle or hose them down and expect to be dry, tho.
If you are ANY shorter than I am (I am 5'2") then these will probably be too long. At my height, they are long enough to cover my calf, but not long enough to get in the way of my knees.
Good quality leather and stitching, and good sole. If you are worried about re-soling rubber, as it turns out- ariat will re-sole them for you when the time comes (not for free, but I was very happy about that).
They look good enough to wear out on the town (if you are into that kinda thing) and useful enough to do work in. If comes a time when I need to replace these boots, I would get another pair without question. Tho, seems to me, I'll probably have these boots for a long, long time.

Extremely comfortable and especially nice looking, these will be my dress up boots. Couldn't believe the price, others were almost as much as a car payment!

I love these boots!!! I could wear them everyday, they are very comfortable. I have two pair of ARIAT boots and I would buy another pair of ARIATS in a heartbeat. All cowboy boots seem to run a half size big...so don't understand why so many reviews seem surprised about that.

These particular Ariats run really big! Also, the calf runs really small, so if you have any calf muscles, these probably won't go over them! I'm very disappointed with the way these boots were sized, I had to send them back and will not be ordering them again!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yoda I love these tall boots. Your pants don't get stuck in the top when you stand up. Plus they are beautiful and comfortable with a pefect fit. You can't go wrong with Ariat boots!

I saw these boots worn by a friend of mine and just had to have a pair! She let me know that they ran a 1/2 size too big, so I ordered them a 1/2 size smaller. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable and beautiful. What a great buy!

I wish that fact had been noted somewhere on the page describing these beautiful boots. I debated over which size to order, as I have no experience with this brand, so I went with the size I wear the most, a 7.5 They run at least a half size large, so I put them back in the box and sent them right back, much to my chagrin. I am waiting for the size 7 to arrive soon, and I'm hoping that will be a perfect fit, as these boots are gorgeous!

Bought these boots for upcoming Western Dressage shows to complement my black horse. Fit is wonderful and comfortable. Too nice to wear every day. They're beautiful and eye-catching. Good quality and expect to have them for a long time.
