These were great boots, and this is not my first purchase from Sheplers. The price on this pair of boots was fantastic but they were only available in size 11. I was hoping that a 1/2 size larger than what I wear would not make that much difference, but it does. Fortunately Sheplers has an amazingly easy return policy. Just tape the box shut, slap on the included postage paid return shipping label and drop it off at the post office. It only took a few short days from clicking the purchase button to receiving my order. Sheplers will get more of my business in the future. They have earned it.

I really like the look and feel of this boot. The spur ridge is a great feature as it really holds the spur in place with minimal slippage.

I LIKE THESE BOOTS. PUT THEM ON STRIGHT OUT OF THE BOX AND WORE THEM FOR SEVERAL HOURS. THEY WERE COMFORTABLE, AND DIDN'T HURT MY FEET. GREAT BOOT FOR THE PRICE.

until i got the buckaroo boots i used to ride my horses in long leg engish riding boots. it was a chore to get my jeans down them. and a bigger chore to remove them. wished i'd have have started wearing a pair of buckaroos a long time ago.

I bought these on line. Really nice boots and I get compliments on them alot. Great while I am out riding in the woods! However, they run big. I could have gone a size and a half down and they would be a perfect fit! I just wear thick socks now.

Sized perfectly. Well constructed. Comfortable walking in the woods or pasture ALL DAY LONG.
Spur heel is a definite plus on a boot in this price range.
A great pair of buckaroos for a steal of a price!

I've been wearing these boots for 3 months now, for work. I am a cowboy working on a 3,000 cow ranch. I got them because I didnt have time to have a pair custom made as I usually do and thought that I would just wear them for dirty jobs. But they turned out to be so comfortable that I wear them daily.
They are a little narrower than I expected so get them a size wider that you normally would. The tops are a little wide at the calf for me too. I would have preferred a shallow scoop. I put in an insole with arch support and and can fit two pairs of socks on for winter without too much tightness, so even though they were a bit narrow they did stretch a bit to allow for the extra padding. The spur ledge is quite large and the arch support is weak. Don't expect them to be brass nailed and wood pegged. They are rubber soled so be careful taking your feet out of the stirrups or they may stick.
They will probably not last as long as handmade boots and there is a spot where the stitching is coming undone but for the price they are worth it. They are good backup boots and comfortable. I'd buy them again.

I have worn different brands, including Major Names, but these are the most comfortable, long lasting and durable boot I have found and own. Lot of different styles and colors to choose from. I will always by the "Buckaroo" style boot till the day I die or when Sheplers goes out of business. I would buy them, even if they were not on sale. Thanks.

ok i bought my boots like 2 weeks a go i loved them they were comfortable. i wore them every day at work in the poopy mud and in the saddle they are still comfortable. but know the heel is coming a part. the heel feel off when i got home. i WILL probly never buy another pair of theis boots. THEY DONT HANDEL THE REAL WORKING RANCH LIFE.

AWESOME BOOT!!!!!
My entire left leg, foot to over belt, went warm after a few walks in Saddle Vamp Buckaroo Western Boots. A few more and the loudest noise yet from my rightt leg. Dislocated pelvis was set before by Dr. Chiropractic and I love these boots!
