I have been thinking about buying these boots for a year now and looking at all the reviews and I finally took the plunge! I am so happy with these Horse Shoes. I am glad I bought them and look forward to wearing them for a long time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Greyhoundwalker Dark Brown (Not Tan), Fit Well, but Have Stitching that Vanishes
I have used these ropers for years. I have two complaints. The stitching disintegrates way too soon, leaving the leather gaping on each side behind the toes. I keep wearing them until I can't stand the gaps any more. I even sent a pair to Roper after phoning them, and never got any response. The other is that these have always had the "tan" appellation, even thought they have been dark brown, not "tan", since 2000. The style that does come in tan has kilties that are too wide for the laced shoe (they buckle in the middle), but the shoe does not look right without the kilty. These ropers fit me well, and protect my feet from big gravel, ankle turns, and bruises. FYI I wear the men's 9 1/2.

This is a great buy; after breaking them in (by feet in plastic bags) for about a week I trecked around Asia for a month.

I bought my first pair of Roper Horseshoes more than 15 years ago and they are still comfortable to wear. I liked them so much that they are the only athletic shoes that I buy. They are nice enough to wear casually, at work and in a semi-formal setting. This is a product that I will continue to buy as long as they maintain the quality of the product.

This shoe is a very comfortable and all round shoe. It can be worn as a general purpose shoe, work boot or even when in the saddle all day long. It has ideal comfort and supports the foot. At the end of the day your foot will be as refreshed as a the beginning of the day. Great shoe.

I have yet to wear them long enough to comment with any accuracy, but these are the choice of my brother, who has worn them for several years and thinks very highly of them. He raises Morgan Show Horses and he says these shoes are most comfortable and still best for riding.
For the time I have worn them, they are very comfortable and correct in their sizing.

I have been wearing Roper Horseshoes for years. They are extremely comfortable and very versatile. Working on a large cattle station for many years, I needed a boot that I could wear on a horse, motorbike, in the yards, aswell as for dress. From the first moment I slipped my foot into these boots, I have never worn anything else.
