Soon I'll be getting another pair just for work. Nice style, great ankle support, and the steel toe has already saved my foot when a horse stepped on it while I was grooming. Great price!     Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boots ! I bought a pair of these from Sheplers back in 2000. They just wore out on me a couple of months ago. If you take care of them they'll last a long time ! And yes I ride and work in them and they are GREAT ! I have looked for these for a longtime, seeing as the closest Sheplers to me is over 60 miles away I guess I'm going to have to make a trip out of it to get a new pair . . . . or 2. November 18, 2012

I wore cowboy boots for years but now that I'm a lot older these feel much more comfortable on my feet. I have always liked western clothing, the style of western clothing and just the smell of leather. I will probably stay with these shoes and hopefully they keep making them. I guess ya could call me a urban cowboy with my shoes and straw hat. May 12, 2012

    is this a steel toe shoe

    ROPER HOSRESHOES BOOTS, ARE THEY STEEL TOES. ALSO CAN THEY BE POLISHED, WITH A CREAM POLISH. ARE THEY TRUE TO SIZE, I WEAR A 9M OR WOULD YOU RECOMMEND A 1/2 SIZE LARGER.

    These do not state there are steel toes installed. You can polish with a neutral creme polish or a clear polishing base. If it is a standard boot, order the correct size. It is not stated they run large or small. If still unsure then call operator for additional support.

    No, these boots are not steel toe.
    They are made with a genuine leather upper, which can be cleaned with leather cleaner.
    These boots should run true to size. Please keep in mind that this is only a guideline, and I cannot guarantee what size will be needed.
