Rated 4 out of 5 by First pair of Rocky workboots initially bought because of the thick rubber around the back sides and over the steelcap on the front. took a couple of weeks to soften and get comfortable, once worn in very comfortable. have had this pair for nearly six months and wear for 10-14 hours a day and will definately buy another pair when eventually wear out January 21, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good for a while then junk them Intially these are pretty good boots. I needed something cheap to replace a pair of Rocky DeerStalkers that fell apart while hunting. The place where the leather is sewn to the rubber is a fail point, even in these. In time the rubber will dry and crack like on my old DeerStalkers which only lasted a couple years. The rest of the boot was perfect. The rubber/leather joint failed on a hunt in deep snow. Luckily I was close to camp and walked back and tossed them in the trash, which is where these will go at the first sign of problems. I suspect all Rocky boots made this way are short lived. I'll get a different brand next time but needed something quickly so I got these. November 29, 2012
