I bought this hat last summer and really enjoy it..
I read some comments about no vent holes to let air through.
I installed Hat vent holes (from any hobby or leather shop)
and really enjoy it.. Great for the Southern Sun..
I wish it was made in buffalo fur or some other quality felt
for the winter wear..

Nice looking hat. Runs a little larger than my Stetson but It fits OK with some double sided foam tape. The only problem I see is that the first time I wore it on a hot day, sweat caused the dye in the head band to stain the hat dark. I wish it had some vents.

I liked the first one so much I got two more because it seems like every time I like a certain product, the company stops making them. This hat looks good and fits true to size. It's hard to grasp by the crown because the straw is slippery and thin. I always fear I'll crush the crown by handling it in that way. No vent holes so it gets hot in the heat of the summer. I've worn mine in the winter as well and it keeps my head warm. The wide brim dips well in the front and back which sometimes obstructs my vision, but with the gus crease I like wearing it cocked back a little. Hat also comes in black straw and you can get the same hat in felt (three different colors). Overall this is a very nice looking hat.

I like the crown & brim, but the material is way to thin for me. Maybe I'm tougher on hats than most, but I don't think this is going to cut it in the long-run. I'm returning it for a refund.

I love this hat! I've been searching for about a year for a hat and I just haven't been happy with anything until now. I love the gus crease, the big brim, and it looks pretty snazzy without the air holes. It looks great on and I get complements every time I wear it. Looks like a custom hat and at a good price too.

It is well woth the price. It is light but it is hot. There is no ventilation but there was no attempt tp suggest that there was. i needed a hat with a large brim to keep the sun off of my face and ears and this works fine.

light in weight, comfortable, and keeps the sun off. Also I like the fact that it has no vent holes to let the gnats in :-)
