Rated 5 out of 5 by These are GREAT Boots! I finally just ordered these boots. I am hard to fit as I have very thick muscular calves from a career of racing bicycles. The shafts on these are just a bit over 16" at the scallops, making them just right for me to fit my froggy legs into. This being said, I have limited choices and I find I MUST buy what fits and cannot always buy what I really like. This case, I really scored! These Red Ranch boots fit my high instep and thick legs, and they are beautiful boots! I would venture a guess that these are made by Dan Post. Their model number has a Dan Post prefix and they appear to be in every way identical to my Dan Post "Happy Trails" except the color. For the money, I do not think you can get a better boot! Shelpers is practically giving these away at the price above! This is easily a $250+ caliber boot! Super quality leather vamp, shaft, footbed and sole, made in Mexico! Just the right balance of suppleness yet leather is thick and durable for everyday wear/work. Im ordering a second set now, before they are all gone! THANK YOU SHELPERS! April 7, 2013

    Answer:
The shaft should be the same as with a standard size 11 or 12 cowboy boot. D and EE width or M or EW width will vary to a certain extent based on the width sizes. If you are unsure, please call customer service and see if thy can get someone to get your answer for you.
