I purchased this for my 9 year old son for riding and cattle work. He says they are very comfortable and really likes the look. It did not state on the site the heel height and I wasn't expecting a 2 inch heel. It will be interesting to see how they wear, I'm not overly happy with the vinyl lining, I worry that in Australian heat they will be too hot in summer and that it will crack easier than leather. We haven't had the product long enough to really judge, I will be much better informed by the end of the year! I got it for a cracking sale price so overall well worth what I paid. Delivery time was fantastic, I will definately be back to purchase from Sheplers.

Even though delayed delivery of this product made them a month late as a Christmas gift for my grandson, he loves them! His mom says she can hardly get them off him. Thanks, Sheplers, for staying in touch with me through the delayed delivery process.

Took a month to receive- was on back order but I had to call on several occasions for updates.
Inside lining cracked within 2 weeks at the level of the ankle. Will need to put duck tape in order to prevent further progression. Sole is slipping and there are exposed nails- thankfully they are flush and don't bother my sons feet.
Outside leather is in good shape.

I purchased these boots for myself. I wear a size 8.5 in womens, and can wear a 6.5 to 7 in boys boots. They are softer and easier to break in. Less expensive to replace as well. Since I wear my boots daily, I have to replace yearly, but for $40 it is well worth it. I would recommend these boots to everyone.

My son loves these. He is wearing them all the time. We got them for riding the horses and 4 wheelers. Good product for the price.

I purchesed these on-line and had them shipped to my grandson for his 7th birthday so I didn't get to see them before he opened them. Though I read other reviews that indicated the color was nothing like the image displayed I took a chance on these. Unfortunately, the other reviews were spot on. The color of the boots was nothing like the on-line image. These are not two toned.
The other disappointment was the poor quality stitching on the upper part of one of the boots. In spots it is unraveling and in others it is a clustered mess of stitches in no pattern whatsoever. I can't believe someone actually packaged these and didn't take the time to retrieve another pair. Overall I am very dissatisfied and wouldn't order from them again.
