Every time I wear them, I get compliments on them!! They are so comfortable and true to size. Buy them, you won't regret it...you'll probably do what I did and buy them in brown too.

I love the look, feel, and value of the boots. They fit true to size and are comfortable. The price was very reasonable considering they are constructed of leather.

Knowing the true comfort of a well-worn cowboy boot, and having personally worn boots for 35+ years, I was surprized when my wife mentioned she wanted to give up her "trendy" boot fashion styles for a pair of classic cowgirl boots. Naturally, I went to Shepler's to shop online. I picked the Old West Cowgirl Boot for the perfect balance of style, quality and cost. I was going to save them for Christmas, but I couldn't wait to see how they would look on her. At first they were a bit tight-fitting. After the break-in period however, she says they are very comfortable. I can attest to this because she hardly wears anything else now. Guess I'll need to buy another pair to put under the tree.

These run true-to-size and are super cute! Get compliments every time I wear them. Very comfortable. Plenty of room in upper shaft if calves are full. Great buy!

I purposely bought a half size smaller so that they would fit me well, good thing I did because as predicted they run large. I definitely had to break them in for months wearing them everyday with heavy duty socks. The leather on the interior on the sides and the heel was extremely rough and ripped holes in every pair of socks that I had as well as many of my stockings and not to mention the blisters on my skin! The rise of the part of the boot where the ball of the foot rests was also pretty narrow. For the first couple weeks my toes were getting numb after wearing them all day. Call me crazy, but even after all of the pain and suffering as I went thru to get these boots broken in, they get my 4 star rating for vanity alone because they are a fine looking pair of boots!

The boots fit just as I had hoped and very comfortable! They are a little slick with no grip anywhere except the heel. But overall this is an excellent boot and I would recommend it to anyone!
