I treated the leather as soon as I got them to keep them soft and pliable since they seemed a bit dry. Now I enjoy them a lot. The bottom is really smooth so i avoid walking in ice and snow. You can't beat the price and they look really nice. I'd buy these again and other boots from the same brand. January 28, 2013

    I wear 8 B but these boots are 8 D and they seem comfortable. Not that big,like my foot is loose but not falling out.I have room for a boot sock which is rare in a cowboy style!

    Yes, this boot does run small. We suggest you order 1/2 size larger than your normal boot size.

    Answer: 
    The boots will last a while, based upon how much usage you give them. They should hold up during normal wear and tear, as with any pair of shoes or boots you would need to keep them clean and moisture free so you would need to polish them and or place a wax on them to prevent them from getting moisture. In addition there are some rare conditions of a manufacturer's defect and in that case you will know if there is a problem with the boots almost immediately.

    They are shipped in a standard boot box. Usually they carry the logo on the front of the box of the manufacturer. Sometimes if the proper manufacturer box is not available another manufacturer box is flipped inside out so not to show the other manufacturer. If you do not want the person to know what you are buying for them, have the box shipped to yourself and if necessary flip the box inside out. Be Careful not to tear any corners when opening the box up. It is similar to a pizza take out box, with the difference of a pull up handle.

    They are shipped in a marked Shepler's box, but the plastic shipping bag has no marking other than the shipping address. You cannot see through the bag and it is well sealed.

    The basic outer is leather and the inside is a man-made lining. Probably vinyl or a plastic or nylon, or a combination of all three. Each manufacturer is different.
