Rated 5 out of 5 by Fist pair of Cowgirl boots I LOVE my boots... the color the feel everything! I am an 8 1/2-9 (wide foot) I ordered a 9 based on a lot of people saying to order a size up... they fit perfect! I wore them to the Brad Paisley concert and was able to compare them to tons of other boots I saw and I loved mine the Best!!! It rained that night, so they got a little wet which made me nervous, but they dried fine!!!! Still perfect! Love them! June 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value These boots look amazing. The condition of the leather is perfect, They smell great, fit surprisingly well and a great price. I have a small foot 38 euro sizing, 7-7.5 sizing in Australia, and in some sport shoes occasionally an 8. I measured the length of my foot and used the shepler sizing chart to select a size 8. This seemed to be ideal. The boot is snug around my fairly narrow foot, and the tip of the boot extends a couple of centimetres past my toe as you would expect in a pointy style boot. The tops are quite wide so my skinny little calves have a lot of room but it doesnt look ridiculous. Very happy with these so far. My first cowgirl boots! June 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Old West Distressed Leather Cowgirl Boots - Snip Toe LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM LOVE THEM. FIT, DESIGN FABULOUS. May 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by LOVE THEM! I originally ordered these in a 1/2 size larger and had to return them because they were too big. My regular size fits perfectly. They have required a little break in period but they are now ver comfortable. I love the color and they look like they were way more expensive than they actually are. I would definitely recommend these! May 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The bees knees Just love these boots. Great design, fit and quality. The more you wear them the better they look. May 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boot To Go With Everything! Love this boot. After a few wears they make their way to fit your foot. First pair and I am in love. They pretty much can be worn with anything and everything. Perfect color & style. May 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fit not quite right The quality of the boots was very good, but the right boot was uncomfortable. Probably more to do with the "design" of the user's foot and not the boot. Had to return product for credit. Awaiting confirmation that credit has been issued. Thanks very much. May 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Quality Boots I bought these for my daughter and found they ran true to size, Toe is slightly tighter but I believe that is due to the style, but not uncomfortable. Heel has plenty of room and does not cut or bind. Nice soft leather. Good quality for the price. May 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boots! I'm not big on writing reviews, but I had to share how great these boots are. They are a nice color and fit well. At first the new leather is a bit snug but after they are wore a few times, they are perfect! May 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these boots! I was so impressed with the service from Shepler's - I live in NZ and they were very helpful with all my shipping and sizing questions. My boots arrived within 7 working days and are PERFECT!! They felt a bit snug but a couple of wears and they are already worn in perfectly. They fit true to size - I'm an NZ 7 and ordered US 7 and they're exactly right. They are my new favourite boots and I will definitely shop with Shepler's again and have recommended them to everyone who has asked about my boots! May 13, 2013

    Answer:
Australian sizing is about 1/2 different than a US size, so an AUS size 5 would be an approximate US size 5.5. Please keep in mind that this is only a guideline, and I cannot guarantee what size will be needed.

    Answer:
Hi, in Australia we use USA sizing for our shoes. I'm a size 6 here and when I buy shoes in the states I buy the same size, no need to go up a size unless the website tells you to. It depends on where the shoe is made, I have bought some Frye branded boots made in Mexico from a U.S. retailer, although I'm a 6, I had to go up to a 7...I know it's confusing but basically, buy the same size as your Aussie shoe size, unless the maker advises you to go up or if other reviewers report that the sizing is smaller than stated. I bought some Old West brand boots on here, size six, a little narrow across the foot but stretching with each wear to fit me perfectly.

I have muscular calves and I am trying to decide which part of my calf to measure to determine whether the shaft of the boot will offer enough room.

    Answer:
I have chunky calf too and these fit me fine, I have 15 inch circumference calf and the boots sit just under then widest part of my calf, if they were taller not sure they would fit but as they sit lower they are just right.

    Answer:
These are 12" rise boots. So what I did to figure out where a boot comes up on my leg was to measure from the bottom of my arch or heel and pulled the measuring tape 12" up my leg. This will show you where the boot will be the widest on your leg. I don't know the circumference of the boot shaft but hope this helps.

    Answer:
    Cary,
Standard width for a woman's boot is "B" width (which may be labeled "M" for "Medium" width). Narrow width is labeled "A". Wide width is labeled "C".

I would recommend a a 9.5 A unless you plan to wear a thick sock. Please keep in mind that this is only a guideline, and I cannot guarantee what size will be needed.

    Answer:
I'm not sure I understand your question: 13 or 14 inches high or around? The boots have a 12-inch shaft that will 12 inches high. Shaft circumference will vary for all boot sizes. It is difficult to determine actually what size the shaft circumference will be. Please keep in mind that you can stretch the shaft of the boot if it feels tight.
