This is my first pair of cowboy boots. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't go with Nocona boots, but not this style.
The boots fit great, and I have a hard to fit foot. That is why I would stick with Nocona.
As for this style, I'm not thrilled. The boots scuff very easily. The finish doesn't seem to be very durable. Nocona didn't provide any instructions on how to care for the finish, and I'm not sure how I should restore it. But after about 3 months of occasional wear (about once a week), these look very worn. That's not what I expect from good footwear.
Also, these boots could have more cushioning. After several hours of dancing in these boots, my feet definitely feel tired. I don't get that same feeling with dance or dress shoes.
If I had it to do again, I get the same size in Nococa boots, in a simple black finish. I'd also look into adding some additional cushioning to the insoles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Doc I like 'em
After endless searching for a boot that would fit my skinny 12 1/2 AA sized feet, I decided to try Nacona brand boots. The fit is true, but no arch support. With Birkenstock 3/4 inserts and backing off one width to 12 1/2 A these boots feel great. I'm still breaking them in, but in one month they have really come along. Color is better than the "enhanced photo" on the website, a soft medium brown (does that make it vintage?).

Given that this was a long distance purchase I have been very happy with the product [...] Thank you all.
