When I got them, I thought they were a little big. That may be because I have trouble getting boots my size - 14b - and several pair or 13s. All I can say is that they are incredibly confortable. I have worn them a bunch since I got them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GolfTime A great looking pair of boots
A good quality boot at a reasonable price. I recommend ordering sizes that are in stock. It took nearly two months to get my size when it wasn't in stock.

As a repeat customer of Nocona I expected a quality boot that would adapt to me quickly. I choose a slightly larger size this time and the boots feel as if they were custom made for me. It's important to me to buy U.S. made products and I've been very lucky to find several brands under Nocona's parent umbrella that fit my specific needs and are made in U.S.A. What I can say about durability is good boots are an investment that require care and common sense if maximum satisfaction is desired. I expect to have these boots ( all four pair ) a great many years and I'm far from gentle in my daily routines. My compliments to Sheplers for taking the trouble to assist online shoppers with their Made In USA categories. I make no apologies for wanting to see my country prosper and it appears Sheplers has the corporate spine to accommodate those of us that feel this way. My compliments to Nocona and Sheplers. And my thanks to those that shop the way I do.

These boots are now two months old and have seen only urban use. They have managed snow and ice and as well as rain and shine and done quite a few miles now having just had their first rubber half sole.
They have been quite good but not without problems.
Day one they got wet and the black dye ran off the soles really badly.fortunately I noticed before they got on the carpet but they made a mess of the kitchen floor but I soon had it mopped up and I just wore them outdoors only for the next few weeks which were wet after, two months they seem sort of stable colour wise. The colour on the uppers is not a problem just the soles and heels it seemed really odd that the colour that they use on the soles is water soluble.
Also the stitching in the side seam broke just above the sole and I could not find one of these modern shoe fixers that would fix it so I got some decent thread and a blunt needle and sewed them up myself. I don?t think the stitching is as strong as it should be.
All that aside they look good and are very comfortable. The pair I had before these I purchased in 1988 and they never had a problem

Rated 4 out of 5 by rockmontana A good boot for the money.
This calf skin half round toe boot is a bit looser than the lizard pointed toe I am used to. I think I may like that. Not sure yet. I am very pleased with my purchase. They are well made, very comfortable and handsome. Good service too. Make sure you try some boots on before buying on-line to make sure of your size.

Great Boots, but the color is not the "Black Cherry" as shown in the advertisement. More like Cordovan or Burgundy. I have other"Black Cherry" Boots and they look like the color in the ad.
