I must not have chosen the correct size because it is too small. I'm going to have to add another hole to it. I took the buckle off and put it on his old belt though, and he loves it. Its going to be hard for a kid to tolerate the stiffness and wait for it to beak in. I did oil and treat them. Comparing it to the girl belts, it was terrible (especially one $1 price different).
