buying online can net you surprises, Upon receiving the hat I ripped the tag off and went on my way that day. Right off It felt comfortable, has a high crown so it fits right, not like some big name of the hats I've owned in the past. A few days latter I read the tag and to my surprise Shady Brady is a American company that take pride in the American craftsmen that makes their hats. We need more of that corporate spirit. And I got a great fitting, comfortable hat also.

Many people like my hat and I tell them that it is a Shady Brady and I got it through Shelplers. I like my two other Shady Brady's better and I give them a 5 rating although Sheplers no longer sells the wool hats. Great for picnics or informal gatherings. My coworkers like my hat and they are starting to wear hats too. Start your own trend.

I love this hat and am amazed at the value for money that it offers! It's a real designer piece, extremely well made, very comfortable and not unlike the one that Elle McPherson is frequently photographed wearing. Very special!

This is a great hat and it does seem to be very "crushable" although I haven't packed it for a trip yet. It seems to run just a bit small, though. It fits, but I would have liked it just a little bigger.

I have to admit I love this hat. Well made and seems impossible to dent or crease. I know I'll have it for years if not life. My one and only complaint would be that hat doesn't sit completely straight when just thrown straight on. You have to make sure in the mirror with a notch one way or another. But these hats, because they are hand made, are not made exactly the same way every time. So it might just be my head. The size I ordered was 7 3/4

What I like about this cowboy hat, is the wide brim and the fact that it's crushable. I'm rough with my hats, just ask my wife!

The hat has been worn in the ocean, in a pool and just walking around outdoors. Through all of that it has held up perfectly. The hat provides the much need shade protection for my head and face. Ii is very comfortable and stylish.
