A bit soft and supple so will be a work hat. The rigid pinch-front is convenient and nicely stiff. This cover is also a good departure from run of the mill straws. If you want a cover that keeps the sun from frying but with attractive ventilation so the wind doesn't take it off your head, then this is a fine choice. Finished well enough for work or more dressy. A bit of clear-coat finishing will help keep my brim edges from fraying or breaking. Stretch liner/inner headband fits well and very softly comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by youngforever The hat is exactly what I expected, looks good, fits perfectly, and appears to be very durable. The hat spent a week on a boat in the Ozarks and still looks good after 100 + degree heat. The first hat I ever got a compliment, from a girl in a bikini.

I have a small head for a man, so it's hard for me to find a good hat that fits. This is a nice hat. Looks good and it is pretty comfortable. I wore it all day while we were out with the family, and my head stayed nice and cool. I just wish it was a bit smaller. The elastic sweat band takes care of the fit for the most part, but it just looks large to me. My wife says it looks fine, but I think she's just being nice.
Also I noticed that where they pinched the crown it looks like the straw is starting to break. I've been real gentle with it, and I've only worn it a couple of times. So I know it's not from wear or abuse.
Other than that I like it.

Funky, laid back design that got a thumbs up from my friends first time I wore it. Great choice for the money and my new fave for the good times.

fits great and stays on head very well compared to other hats ive had. the color is a little darker than i expected but not enough to change my mind about it. took shape well and seems to be holding it well

I ENJOY WEARING THIS COMFORTABLE HAT. IT'S VERY LIGHT WEIGHT AND BREATHABLE. IT WAS EASY TO SHAPE THE BRIM,AND THE LANYARD HELPS KEEP IT ON IN A STIFF BEACH WIND.I BAUGHT IT ON LINE BECAUSE THE EXCELLENT SHEPLERS STORE HERE IN ORLANDO ONLY HAD THE SMALL TO MEDIUM SIZE IN STOCK,MY HAT SIZE IS A 7 1/4 SO THE ELASTIC SWEAT BAND WORKS WELL.I CAN ALSO WASH THE SWEAT BAND IN THE SHOWER WITH A LITTLE SHAMPOO AND LET IT DRY ALL NIGHT. IT LOOKS GOOD AT THE BEACH OR AT THE RODEO!
