I recently purchase one of these vest and it had a manufacturing defect. I sent it back which took almost two weeks. I called them and told them I bought it for a special event and I had to send it back. They were very nice and rushed me another one which I received in two day. The lady even called me at home to make sure the vest was perfect. She knew exactly when it arrived. Because of the customer service I would buy from them again. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase.

The quality would have been satisfactory if only I could have buttoned and unbuttoned the vest.The buttonholes were way small and I could see the problem in the future with fraying or tearing around buttonholes.

Fits well, looks good, I'm well pleased. Tan color goes well with jeans or casual pants.

The Scully vest was actually even more comfortable than I had expected...very warm on these chilly southeast Texas days, but gives the flexibility of wearing just a long sleeve button down and still look nice...might look at purchasing the the black one as well...all in all, an excellent purchase...this lifelong Texan is now a Sheplers customer from now on!

I found the vest to be very well made with a full lining, perfect pockets and great buttons. If I could alter one thing, I would like it to be slightly longer. I'm 6'2" and can use the extra length. I enjoy wearing it.

This is a hard-wearing, substantial cowboy working vest with attractive collar and lapels and buttons. I would have called it perfect at the price had the manufacturer made it in size XL-tall. The problem is compounded if you are tall and long-waisted. The garment in XL will ride up over your belt. I thought enough of the quality to keep mine and pass it on to another, who is a few inches shorter and admittedly trimmer.

I have a conceal carry permit and wanted to use it for that purpose. It was too short.
