Pretty good boot socks. Not sure they are worth the $15 a pair though, we will see how they hold up. If they last a long time, like 5 or 6 years, they will be worth it. The do stay up, cushioned well in the right places, comfortable for all day wear.

One of the things I like most about Thorlo is that they are application specific. Western boot socks are designed for cowboy boots, and combat boot socks are designed for, well, you get the idea. These work great in cowboy boots, the right cushion in the right place, and although they looked small in the package, they really fit well. One other thing that is important, to me anyway, they are made in USA.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MrOPT not worth the money
I thought I'd try the Thorlo socks because they are made in the U.S.A., thin, and with the high price tag I thought they were a quality sock.
WRONG, these socks do not stay up more than 5 minutes brand new out of the pack. They may be OK for a guy with pin sized legs, but for a Man sized calf that works hard 8 - 10 hours a day, don't waste your money on these. You will be doing nothing but pulling them up all day long.
The only good thing they have going for them is they are thinner than any other bootsock and help if you have a tight fitting boot...

I used to use Thor-Lo tennis socks (crew socks) when playing tennis, but I didn't know they made boot socks. The minute I saw them here on Shepler's, I ordered my self 3 pairs, and am about to order another 3 pairs. They are the best socks money can buy. They are expensive, but worth every dollar. Make sure you follow their instructions, and wash them inside out, in order to keep them soft for a long time. I had to do that with my tennis socks as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bungee These great socks are better than Dan Post's boot socks
I've been wearing Dan Post boot socks for the past year or so, and have been a bit disappointed with them as they age. They are starting to get a bit loose in the foot and bunch up (although they still don't fall down) and are getting very hard on the inside, so I decided to try the Thorlo socks. I have to say they are very impressive so far, They are easier to put on, not as tight in the leg, so more comfortable but don't fall down at all. The bottom is very thick, soft and comfortable to walk on, The calf section is very thin, almost mesh like, so I think they will be much cooler in warmer weather as well. Only time will tell how they go in the long run, but so far I have to say I'd rather spend the extra and wear the Thurlos. I've just ordered another pair, and will be replacing all the Dan Post's with Thurlos as they wear out (or I get sick of them).

Best, most comfortable boot socks I have ever owned. Would not wear anything else.

These are the best. Plenty of padding without bunching up or bunching in the toes. I'll probably order a few more soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DeeJay These socks are great!
These boot socks are the best I've ever worn. They slide on easily and wear comfortably. I only wish I had had them some years ago when I had to wear leg braces for 18 months; they would have made the experience much more bearable. I'm switching to this brand permanently!

These socks are very comfortable. They never slouch. With the correct care, they can last for years. Very good product. The only brand/type my man will wear.
