Rated 2 out of 5 by Image on internet is misleading and this style Lucchese is not a full vamp/foot It's a handsome boot from the image, unfortunately when I got the boot I found that it was not a full vamp/foot, it had an additional piece of caiman skin added along the outside & inside of the boot to make a complete foot. The image they use shows a full vamp/foot, no spicing. I based my purchase on the look of the boot from their image. That is not the boot they sell. The boot in the image is a "C" style, 4 digit code, a similar look but not the "L" style, full vamp/foot (same 4 digit code) I called Sheplers' customer service and told them how the boot was contrusted and I realized they know little about boot making or Lucchese boots. They were very kind in offering a refund, which I did. I called Lucchese and they explained that was the the way the boot was made if you were ordering a "C" style boot, all "C" style boots don"t have a full vamp/foot. The price point is less when they make them this way. If you want a complete vamp/foot exotic skin, caiman or crocodile, etc., you must order a "L" style and then it will be a full vamp/foot, no spicing. I don't fault Shelpers, but they should be more fimilar with the styles of boots and construstion, especislly in expensive exotic skins. December 5, 2012
