Really like these boots; I wanted a dress boot that I could wear with slacks and am really pleased. The boots were comfortable from day one; only small thing was that there was a loose, thick loop of thread that was not trimmed off inside the boot and the bottom of my heel kept pressing on it when I walked (I think it usually gets trimmed or glued under the insole). I was able to squeeze some scissors down into the boot and trim it off though...

Having several pairs of Lucchese boots, this was my first pair of the 1883 style. Great look, quality product. Color is unique for lizard. Considering the price, great value for an American icon.

These boots are a heck of a lot better in person than what the picture shows. I already had a pair of Mad Dog Goat in 10-1/2D so I figured I'd get these in the same size. And they fit just the same as the mad dogs. the color isn't as orange as what the picture shows there a little lighter in color which actually looks a lot better. I would definitely recommend these to anybody who's thinking of buying them.

My second pair of Lucchese boots they seem a little narrow so this time I ordered ½ size larger. For now, I?m very happy but, I haven?t worn them but once. So time will tell as to fit, but the looks and the quality is superior. Highly recommend.

I had read previous reviews and had some slight skepticism, but all that went out the window the moment I opened the box. Wow! They are truly better looking than the web picture. I have to hide them from my wife to keep her from wearing them! Yes, they are about a half size large, but I knew that from having tried on other Luccheses and purposely ordered them smaller than my normal 10 1/2 D. A very impressive pair of boots.

I pondered on this purchase for 6 months because my foot is narrow and I dreaded the prospect of sending 2 or 3 pairs of expensive boots back and forth only to find out that it just wouldn't work. The first pair (12 D) was my normal running shoe size (12 B) and it was way too big. The next full size lower was on back order for 2 months so I tried a 10-1/2 D and it is perfect. Connie from customer service was very helpful.

Very nice boots. Fit well, but returned as lizard color was significantly different than depicted. Too light and almost tan in color. Cannot recommend based on color - just not as attractive as the boots depicted.
