    Named for the year Lucchese boots were born, Lucchese 1883 boots beautifully reflect the traditional hallmarks of handcrafted boots of the era. This classy boot features a camel burnished, beeswaxed leather foot under a matching, fancy stitched 13" leather shaft. Smooth leather sole. Updated square toe and 1 1/2" cowboy heel. Single stitched welt.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by Lucchese Rocks. Again. I own 6 pairs of Lucchese boots and I keep getting them because they're interesting to the eye and wonderfully comfortable on the feet. These are a case in point. Out of the box, they slipped on easily. That right there sets them apart from some of the competition. Wore them all day, in and out of the car, around town, and would have never known I was wearing new boots. Not a pinch in sight. The light color will probably make these more of a warmer weather pair but no guarantee on that. The toe was a particular attraction as most of my others have the snip toe. This blunt toe has a more civilized look than the most popular competition (known for its harness boot with a blunt toe). Lucchese's take on the style is nicer in my book. I've never gone wrong with Lucchese. December 20, 2012
    Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boot!!! Like almost all Lucchese's boots, this one is well made from high quality materials. The color is a few shades lighter than their tan, which is just what I was looking for. Usually wear an R or J toe but this 7 toe looks pretty good. When it comes to fit and comfort....come on....they're Lucchese. Outstanding out of the box with no breaking in of any kind required. I don't think you'll find more comfortable boots unless you have some custom made. When it comes to "off the shelf", mass produced boots these are well worth the relatively small extra price over other brands. June 28, 2011
