Answer:
The letter following the size, in this case 10 1/2, is always the width, (It is always right after the width.) In western boots, the men's average, or medium width is a D, and the wide is an EE. B and C are women's width letters, as this is boots we are talkin' about, and most bootmakers make boots that come in these 2 widths for men, (or the other 2 for women.) it is very rare for a person to not be able to fit comfortably in one or the other. Those ones you have are 10 1/2 D, and Lucchese are predictable in size. I would be very shocked if the same size did not fit you in an other boot. (I do not own any Lucchese boots,, at least not so far!, but I have tried on several pair in Bull Run Boots, and they felt as comfortable as slippers just as soon as I pulled 'em on!)
