The overall fit of these boots was excellent. This is my second pair of Lucchese boots from Sheplers. I bought the first pair 10 years ago, and they finally wore out on me. I didn't even think of going anywhere else but Sheplers to replace them.

Brown is a rich, warm shade. Shaft length is generous--a little higher than other makes. Boots stretch to a truly glove-like fit. Note: heel is a walking heel, not cowboy heel; and toe is moderately pointed, not sharply pointed.

The only thing I can say bad about this whole transaction is that I think I paid too little for the my boots after wearing them finding out how comfortable they were. My friends told me so but I didn't listen.

My new Lucchese Lone Star boots are great! They fit just fine and look terrific! An added bonus was that they arrived earlier than expected.. I would highly recommend these boots.

BoiseBound Better than a Matchmaker.
I bought these boots to impress someone I just met. I ordered brown but they sent black. Turns out, my new girlfriend prefers men in black boots. Although they sent the wrong color, I just might have to send them a wedding invitation. They were very cooperative in fixing the issue. Even though I kept the boots, they gave me a sizable discount on my next order. LOL...my girl could not believe how soft they were. Perfect fit.

Left boots had a number of thread nubs which, on closer examination, simply unraveled. Really disappointed as the Lucchese website featured a video showing all of the steps they take to make a quality product. Somebody was asleep at the switch.

These aren't the most expensive boots I own, but they're the best and my favorites. These boots are "pure cowboy" with classic styling and a soft leather lustrous finish. They polish beautifully and shine like satin without having a mirror or patent leather look. Elegant, classic, masculine look. Pure comfort. Made to last.

Lucchese boots are as fine as non-custom boots get. These are as soft as a chamois, but tough as any rawhide. They look great, feel great, and wear great. I highly recommend this model to anyone looking for a first-class boot in an affordable price range.
