Great Hat just like in description, Good Price, nice to wear in our climate as it is very cool to wear. Not made in China an added bonus unlike many straw hats!

This hat is one of my favorite. I work outside all day on the ranch and farm, and this hat keeps me shaded, although the ventilation holes work at most satisfactory. But, all in all, this hat is one of the best hats I have owned. Perfect for working, or for going to the barn dance. Also it is made in USA!

O.k people, this hat is made in the United States AND is of American palm. There are several states here that do grow palm trees so please dont be thinking palm straw is only in other countries. The hat is awsome and of terrific construction and material. Well worth the money and then some.

I was in Dallas TX Sheplers few months ago, put the hat on and was immediately in love. It felt as if it was already a few months old. Had that nice broken in feeling on the shelf. Didn't have room on the airplane to bring it home so I left it there. Couple weeks later I just had to get it. I'm not kidding its a great Straw for sure! Very comfortable and no stiff break in period over most Straw's. Highly recommended it.

I bought this hat because I like the look of the palm straw. I liked the look of this particular model, so I thought I'd give it a try. It fits just right, looks really nice. It feels a bit heavier than other straw hats I've owned, but it actually breathes really well. I use it for working around the farm, and horseback riding...does a great job keeping the sun out of my eyes and off my bald head!

I first bought this hat in a Sheplers store a couple years ago and have been looking for another to replace it. I wear it all summer long. Live in a windy area so I like the palm leaf as it is flexible enough to be comfortable in strong wind. Found this one on Sheplers online. Very satisfied with the hat. Though I have a degree in "bid'ness", I work shoulder-to-shoulder with my crew. This hat can stand up to my abuse and the rain. This is my first palm leaf straw but I already prefer it to shantung "straw" hats. I am ready to buy a spare in case I mess this one up. Great hat for hard-working Midwestern farm types! MADE IN USA and it fits true to size!!!

I was looking for a new hat exactly like my husband's old hat and this is just what I was looking for, even though it is a different brand. I don't believe his old hat company is still in business, it's been so long ago. Great cool hat. This is the second hat I bought this year and the other one is great too. It's for winter. Both perfect sizing.
