Good boot but could not get one to fit via mail... Gave up after 2 tries.. tired of paying postage. Nice looking boot if I could just get the fit I would love it!!

I'd buy several colors of the boot IF it was made with LEATHER UPPERS AND LINING. I've had man made uppers before and they start wrinkling before long and don't look good that way. Not sure these boot would do that but not willing to chance it.
PLEASE OFFER THESE WITH LEATHER UPPERS AND LINNING.

QUALITY OF THIS LEATHER IS SO SUPERB, THAT MY SHOE SHINE BOY MADE THESE WORK BOOTS PROVIDE MIRROR IMAGES. THE SHINE WAS REALLY FIRST-RATE.

I bought a pair of the same model a few years ago, and now it was time to do so again. I stand and walk around a lot in my job, usually dressed in a suit (I'm a teacher#, so these boots are both functional and good looking.
They support my ankles very well while being easily concealed as boots. When people see me - given that they don't look at the heels - they could just as well think of these Western boots as being Chelsea boots #much more common here in Europe#. Over here, a Western stitch would raise eyebrows even without a dark suit, so this uniform version is a good option.
I have also used roper boots in the past to the same effect. From, well, you know which purveyor. I should add that these boots described here have some sole pattern, and that is better in our climate with a lot of rain, sleet and snow than #fake) leather is.
The materials don't breath hugely well, however, and that's the only fault I can find. It's no disaster, though.
The shipping expedience was as impressive now when Sheplers sent the boots to Sweden as it was a few years ago when I had them shipped to the UK. The package went from the store to hub to hub ... to another hub ... and to me over a weekend!

P.S. The site's shoe size comparison chart is very accurate. I buy shoes and boots using both the UK and the EU sizes. Sometimes such charts can be well off the mark, but not here.

These boots look great and are comfortable enough to wear all day without feeling tight or binding like many lower quality shoes do. Whether you need a boot to match your uniform or just a nicely fitting work boot, these will fill your need and look good doing it.
