Rated 2 out of 5 by Gorgeous color, however, very uncomfortable. Bought these boots for my wife as a gift, the boots came in a gorgeous chocolate color brown, that she loved; however, they were not comfortable. The back of the boot pinched her back heel area, and over all, the boot was just very uncomfortable. The boot also had some quality issues. All though not an overly expensive boot, we both expect better craftsmanship. For example, why on earth did they decide to put white stitching around a dark boot? The white stitching made the boot look of poor quality. All though the boot came in a very nice color we decided to return as it was just not comfortable. I am also a little disappointed by Sheplers 10.00 return policy charges... Online customers that do not have a store near them to try on or to return are penalized for ordering online. I feel if the boot is not what is expected or is not a comfortable fit, returns should be free. It?s very difficult determine a boots quality or fit online. September 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing product I'm very happy with shipping time I'm happy with the way it was posted showed you respect my purchase and I love my boots!! August 28, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful I couldn't believe the look of my boots and when I opened the package they were awesome. Once I put my boots on they were a perfect fit, true to size. July 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME BOOTS! A picture of these boots were sent to me by my niece. They looked great online but when i received them they are incredible! LOVE LOVE them!!! June 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by If you like Leopard you must have these, envy too all I Love Them!! They match everything you could wear and when others look I tell them a little bit of attitude! May 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by !!kawaii boots!! My first cowgirl boots. Usually I wear 6.5 and purchase 6.5 !Fit! But I feel somewhat narrow. Color is near dark brown as written to the review. I opted for purchase, seeing them. It is a good color which can be perfectly used for clothes both black and brown. May 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Boots I ordered these boots 3 days ago and I got them today. I ordered a 10 but am normally a 9.5, and they are a little too big. so don't go a half size up.The colour is more of a dark brown than the brown in the pictures and they're not really black, as stated. But otherwise, they're really comfortable and I'm happy with them April 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Leopard Inlay Boots This is the first time I've ordered Loredo boots. I decided to order my regular size and they fit perfect. Nice feel to the leather and very comforable. (no breaking in period) They will be easy to maintain with saddle soap because of the distressed leather. I would not hesitate to order Loredo's again. April 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful but a little pricey for the workmanship I purchased these boots and waited for months before I was finally able to get them. Upon opening the box, I was amazed at the beauty of the boot and everything looked and fit perfectly. I've worn them about 4 times and now the areas around the stitching have started to curl and the boot isn't quite as pretty as it was once before. March 29, 2013

    Answer:
The color is furnished by the manufacturer. The black is most likely referring to the granular underlay appearance they have. Snapshots may also appear more brown than black.

    Answer:
Well, I don't own these, but I have seen them in the store. I would call them a "distressed" black finish, you know, the sort of faded-looking black finish that is so popular on boots right now, (like a lot of Corral boots have). Because it is a lighter black, in the light it appears more like a dark brown. If you want a solid black, like you might want with a Johnny Cash, black head-to-toe look, these are not the boots for that. The two advantages of the brownish-black finish that I see: 1) it goes really well with either black or brown jeans or skirts, if you're into color coordinating. 2) with the "leopard" print inlays, the subtler finish would look more more artfully conceived than the stark contrast a solid black finish would provide with any inlays of that size that were not also black. In other words, the designer might have felt that would have looked too flashy or downright gaudy, instead of strikingly attractive. My guess is they tried both, and this finish was perfect with the inlays.

    Answer:
I would contact the operator to see if they can order a size 5. Usually the size range listed is what the manufacturer lists as what they will make. Sometimes a different size can be ordered when it is special make boot.

    Answer:
I think I answered another Q about these same boots. They are really nice-lookin'! As I mentioned, I don't have these, but Laredos are predictable in that if one boot shape in size 5 fits you, all styles in the same shape and size will as well. From both my and my friend Tracy's experience, Laredo boots run dependably true to size.

    Answer:
The time frame would be based upon where you live and or which method of shipment you choose. The guesstimates listed within the shipping guidelines usually are correct for shipping. Guess that if you are close to the warehouse that it would come on the early side of the guesstimate and if further then expect the later half. Also note that it is the holiday season and may take additional time to arrive.

    Answer:
Are they on back order? If so, you will have to call toll free customer service to find out, but otherwise everything I have ever ordered from Sheplers takes 5 business days to arrive. It might take less if you are closer to wherever they ship from, KS or OK, ! forget.

    Answer:
    Brandi,

These boots are a 'special order' item and that means that they will ship directly from the manufacturer to your door. When you choose your size on the website for this boot it will give you an estimated shipment date. If the boots were ordered today, the manufacturer's estimated shipment date is 09/19/2012. The date given today will not be the same as the date given a week from now. The sooner you order the sooner you will get them. They may have to make the boot before it can be shipped and that is why they give these lead times for shipment. Hope this helps!

    Answer:
I don't own this particular style, but Laredo boots are easy. They come in two heel heights, the "classic western heel", about 1 1/2 in. high, and the "fashion western heel" or "high heel" which is a narrower heel, about 2 1/4 in. high. That is what these boots are (and great-lookin' boots they are, too! I have seen them in the store.) I have a pair of "burgundy" Laredos in the higher heel, and it does make you just a bit taller than the classic, which are always the most comfy, but the fashion heels are not at all uncomfortable unless maybe you wore them to hike miles! Those leopard print inlays really do add interest to the overall look.
