The Remuda boot’s durable design includes working grade leather, shank lock stitch reinforcement, and a reinforced heel counter. Justin J-Flex comfort system features a leather covered Poron 90 insole to maximize your energy return rate to keep a spring in your step, all day long. Texon triple density insole board provides greater heel and toe support. Genuine smooth ostrich leather foot under a 13" fancy stitched, super-soft "vintage" goatskin leather shaft. New broad square toe. 3/4 double stitched welt. Leather sole. Proudly made in the U.S.A.

Mine have quills on the outer 1/2 and look great! I get comments on them all the time and they look very nice with Blue or Black jeans. February 16, 2012

The pictures online clearly show that the boots are smooth ostrich, and you can see the indicative raised bumps that nice smooth ostrich boots usually have. The pair I received might as well be calf skin, they don't have this and really don't look as sharp as the ones shown online. February 24, 2011
