    Answer: 
    It is like wearing an extra pair of socks for EE, a fraction of an inch, I have a wide foot, but D is good if I move up a half size from normal Nike tennis shoe size for example. I find EE is good for insulated boots in my regular size, but for pull-on boots I go up a half size and stay with D width. Hope this helps.
