    • The cowboy’s perfect western hat companion for warm-weather days
    • Affordably priced!
    • Leatherette hat band finished with a two-tone braided leather overlay
    • Justin hat pin detail

Don’t be caught in the hot summer sun without a cooling, breathable straw hat. This handsome, functional western hat from Justin sports a 4" brim and 4 1/2" cattleman crease crown. Eyelets add ventilation.

Cowboy hat crown height and brim width may vary slightly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality Very disappointed in the Justin Morgan Straw Cowboy Hat. The quality is extremely poor and I would not recommend this hat to anyone. October 6, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too big The Justin hat was too large for the labeled size, and it seemed cheaply made. I can't recommend. August 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hat that keeps your head cool I've never worn a Cowboy hat before so I guess I have nothing to compare it to. I live in Arizona, and I got this hat for working outside. When it arrived I was worried that it would be too hot to wear, but it really does keep your head nice and cool. I love the way the hat looks, too. Feels comfortable enough to wear all day. My only criticism is that it doesn't absorb much sweat while working. So I have to wear a bandanna underneath it, but I could have figured that out before if I'd read a bit more. All in all, live the hay and would buy it again gladly. August 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice hat Ordered this hat to wear as a work hat but it is a bit too nice for that so I will use it as a casual hat for a while before I expose it to the dust and dirt of the farm. I have worn it several times and it fits great. Good value. June 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hat! One of the best hats for the price! Comfortable, great fit! June 5, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Quality OK. Hat didn`t fit good. Didn`t like the overall look . Quality was OK not great. February 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is one of many hats I've purchased from you. All have been great. I have been buying western wear for the past 30 plus years. You have had the best so I opened your last mailing when my last straw hat had it. I have limited income so this hat was just what I was looking for and as nice as any of the hats shown on the page. Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic response While the hat itself arrived slightly bent, the customer service I received afterwards was fantastic. Tanya helped me sort the issue and sent me a replacement hat and was very polite and helpful the whole time. The hat itself was just as expected (except for the crease) and good quality. Hi.
What is the different between a $90 Stenson straw hat and a $30 straw hat? My biggest concern is that the one is going to be warmer to wear than the other based on the quality of straw.

    Answer:
Quality of the straw, size tolerance to fit and how much hand detail is necessary to shape the hat.

    Answer:
I don't think the quality of the straw affects the warmth of the hat very much at all, more likely the tightness of the weave and if there are ventilating holes strategically placed may make a straw hat cooler, but wearing anything on top of one's head will trap body heat. The quality of straw is more easily judged by how smooth and even the weave is, and if there are broken-off ends sticking up. One of the smoothest and nicest feeling straws is palm straw. Stetson is a high quality brand, but expensive. I only own one, and it is a wool one. I own only 2 straw hats, one is a Bullhide brand, and it is nice, but I got a palm straw hat for about $60 and it is really high quality, and classy looking to boot. If you want a warmer hat, wool is what you want. Conventionally, straw hats are for summer and warmer spring weather, and for the cold months, wool or fur felt is right.
