    Answer:
Standard width for a woman's boot is "B" width (which may be labeled "M" for "Medium" width). Narrow width is labeled "A". Wide width is labeled "C". The difference is usually about an 1/8 inch.

    Answer:
The difference between a B and C with is not too much. More so in the comfort. You can get away with a wider boot and a slightly smaller size depending on the manufacturers construction of the boots. If you need a wider boot, then a B may not work well for you. It may take longer to naturally stretch boot into exact foot shape for comfort if width is too tight. There are not many manufactureres that will graduate from B to C, The standards are usually B, D and E to EE or EEE. Once in a while you will see an A or C.
