I was shopping for a more feminine block for a hat to wear at the horse shows. I had bought a "unisex" hat at a trade show, which looks way too big for my head. Was originally going to buy a black hat, but when I saw this red one, and read the reviews, I had to have it. Very feminine block - I won't need to change it, but you could easily re-block it, if you wanted to. This hat looks almost as good on me, as on the model! I can't wait to wear it in a show!

Everyone loved this hat. It was comfortable to wear but did run a little big. I wore a small. I never wear hats because they are hot to me. Well I wore this all night long and danced and I wasn't hot at all. I can't wait to wear it again.

I Love This Hat!!!! My husband gave me this hat in black for Christmas. My adult daughters absolutely love it!! They want one also.!! I love everything about this hat, the style, the hearts, the black binding, the fit, and the look. I especially love the fact that it is Made in the USA!!!! My husband wants to get it in red for me for Valentine's Day!!!! Thank You, Sheplers for this hat!!

I was so bummed I didn't bother reading the reviews for this hat before I ordered it and spent $25 to have it overnighted (which took 2 days). I went off my actual head size based on their size chart so I ordered an XL. It came in and was way too big. Definitely order a size down!!

I bought this hat twice, because the first one got a scorch mark from a flying ember, and though it was small, I didn't like that I could see it on the red fabric. So I bought it again. Never fear that the hat looks low quality or "cheesy" just because it is not expensive, it is of a nice wool felt and the band is attractive even though the heart concho on the front is obviously not silver--this did not upset me. Do keep in mind that the styling is genuine, but that the hat is of the "crushable" type rather than the rigid style, which allows for a little more flexibility in the fit. Also, as a number of reviews state, it does run noticeably larger than most of my sz. medium hats, but Sheplers does have an accommodating return/exchange policy if the size is way off, or if it is mildly so, a 3" piece of adhesive weatherstripping placed under the inside band in both the front and back will be hidden, and will fix the problem.
