This is the second horse tail hat band I have ordered from you as I pleased that this one came with a different color of horsetail from the last one. I have gotten a lot of compliments on both when I wear them which is on my casual black felt hats.

I had no problem fitting band on hat. The coloring of the band I received was predominantly various shades of tan; I would not describe it as black. This economically priced hat band has added a sense of style to an otherwise plain straw hat.
Of note to Sheplers. The two images of the hat band,

on your web site appear to have different coloring. The later appears to favor blacks, while the former more closely resembles the deiivered product.

The hat band I received was a completely different design than was shown in the photo.It's basically red/white/blue while I was expecting black and earth tones. The horsehair tassels and knots are a nice feature, but, the tapestry isn't as long as is shown in the photo.
As a result, the tassels end up looking tied together instead of aligning as in the photo.
It does go nicely with my husband's black hat, just not as well with my tan/sand color hat.
He'll keep this one and I'll stop into the store on my next field trip to Orlando to see if I can find another one for my hats.

The only thing I have found is that I need to add a couple of stitches to the band to keep it secure on the hat. It looks great and is unique.
