Gibson Trading Company gave Sheplers Western Stores their start! Founded in Wichita, KS. in 1899 by J.W. Gibson, it was originally called the Gibson Harness Company. In 1946, Harry Shepler bought the company and changed the name to Sheplers Saddle & Leather, which paved the way for the world’s largest western store! Now customers can find authentic Gibson Trading merchandise, perfect for work or play, exclusively at Sheplers!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sizing chart is unreliable I ordered this shirt in size Large. I looked at the sizing chart and read the FIT NOTE: Classic fit; not too slim or loose. Size Large and my dimensions are in sync. I wear size Large in shirts that I buy in brick and mortar stores and I wear Large in shirts I buy from Internet retailers. I wear Large dress shirts and I wear Large sports shirts. In fact, I recently bought three shirts from a departments store - a Polo, a Nautica, and a house brand. All in Large. All fit well. I was looking forward to receiving this and another shirt from Sheplers. Both looked good out of the bag. Tried them on. All I could close were the top two buttons. On both shirts. Fit like a skimpy medium. Awful. I retuirned them and will not take a chance on the next size up. Plus I'm pretty unimpressed about the $10.00 charge for a pre-paid return mail label. Bye bye Sheplers. Don't darken my in-box any longer. January 26, 2013
