I ordered from the UK and was a little concerned with the sizing chart as it states a US 9-1/2 = UK 9, I was always led to believe that UK sizes were a full size down from US ones. When the boots arrived the latter ran true and I was worried about going through the long exchange process.
However, I put them up against my old Frye boots of similar design and they seemed to match. First fitting is always going to be a battle with these boots as was the case with my Frye's, but I endured for about a week and day by day it gets a little easier, the Hide gives quite a bit.
If you are a UK 9, I'd order a US 10 as this is the case with Durango's; and I think the Durango's are much better made than the Frye's. 10/10

Buying clothes online is always a bit of gamble when it comes to getting the sizing right, and shoes are arguably even more risky. As I live in the UK, it raised the stakes even more - but I really wanted the boots and was disappointed at any attempts at similar styles of boot (Shop or Online) that the UK had to offer. So I took a chance and went for it: Luckily for me the gamble paid off. I simply used the sizing chart on the website, and the boots seem to fit perfectly from new - although (like most really decent shoes) I know there's a bit of "breaking in" to go through. I haven't worn them long enough to make a lasting decision on the fit yet - and that's the only reason for not giving 5 stars: The boots themselves look great - really bringing a touch of the rugged no-nonsense West to quaint little Britain.
As for the service - Sheplers gave an accurate estimate of when they'd arrive and they were bang on: Yep - I had to pay some import duty, but the boots are easily worth it: They are hard wearing and I hope to get many years of wear out of them. There simply isn't anything I've found in the UK can can touch them for quality at the basic raw price (i.e without shipping and duty), and seeings as my wardrobe is full of clothes from the US (the quality overall is just better) these boots complement my everyday garb well.

I think these boots are great. They are very comfortable and they look great! I had a pair of these when i was younger. I am now in my 40's
Its great to know that i can still get a reliable pair of boots with a company that has been trusted for a very long time. thanks Sheplers!

This pair of boots needs about a week constant wearing to break in cos the leather is pretty hard. I was surprised it was manufactured in China though.
Apparently, the quality of the products there are on par with that of the U.S.

I ordered these boots and received them from the factory sooner than stated at the time I ordered. I purchased them with the intent of having them modified. I had the strap removed and a zipper put in the interior seam. They turned out great! I am very pleased with this purchase. They look great.

I wanted to wait until I had been able to fully break in my boots before posting my review. First my boots arrived much earlier than the estimate, very impressive. Second the sizing was/is spot on. The fit and finish is excellent. I own many boots including a pair of custom made ones I have been wearing for twenty years, let me say my Durango DB714s are fast becoming a favorite. The ultimate compliment I can serve both Sheplers and Durango is that I will be buying more from them in the future. I highly recommend both companies without reservation. Five stars across the board. Also these boots are wearing very well as I still use them in the harsh, wet Canadian winter.

First time i,ve bought any boots and the only one,s i could find that i liked were at Sheplers,i would not usually order from overseas but i need not have worried,the boots fit great and came via UPS with no issues,The only thing i would say is if you are ordering from outside the U.S be prepared to pay some tax when you get your delivery,It wasn,t a massive amount and the boots still came in at great value.I would recomend Sheplers and these boots
