I read other reviews before ordering and I found that helpful. I wear a 7 1/2 wide and I am very true to that size. However, one foot is larger than the other. So I ordered an 8. This has turned out pretty well. My larger foot probably needs the space, but my smaller foot has too much extra room. I am thinking of getting another pair and trying my true size. I think it's just a gamble you have to take. I really like the boots. I wanted cowboy-looking boots with a real leather feel, and it does provide that. I do wish, though, that the boots were made in the United States.

These little boots are very attractive and very comfortable. I normally wear a size six in shoes and that is the size I ordered for these boots and they fit great. The leather is nice and the color is rich. I am very pleased with my new boots and with the service I got from Sheplers. I find them to be very honest about product description and reading the reviews is extremely helpful.

Boot leather started out rather stiff and tight but has become more supple with time. Overall good fit. Love having the zipper.

Ordered a half a size bigger than shoe size and fit perfectly. Very comfortable from the start. Look great with jeans. Color was a little darker than picture online but that's fine. Good boots especially for the price!

Just got my boots. I ordered a half size larger than usual and they are just perfect! The color was a little bit darker than I expected, but that's fine. Been wearing them all day and they are very comfortable. Look good with jeans. The price was right and they are really nice!

These boots are so comfortable they can be worn all day without any discomfort. Zipper provides ease of access and heels are the perfect height.

I really stepped outside my zone and tried these. Wore them out on a Saturday morning to run errands. They were tight at first but the leather soften up as time went by. They are very comfortable now. Glad I brought them!!

Love these boots! Very comfortable, nice snug heel hold the foot securely in place. A boot you can wear all day and do a lot of walking in.

I get lots of compliments on these boots. BUT, most important is they are very, very comfortable. Only needed a day or two to break in. Really nice short boot, and I love the zipper. (I'm not getting any younger,lol)
