First, Sheplers was great to work with. No problem with the service at all. But when I received the boot, I was a little disappointed in the quality. Also, I've been wearing a size 8 shoe forever and I tried on a few pairs of boots at local shops, but these seemed to run a little big, especially if they were going to stretch. Because I wasn't happy with the quality, and I was going to have to return them for another size, I started looking seriously at local shops again and found a pair that looked and felt amazing. They're Lucchese ostrich leg, similar to the Dan Post I ordered from Sheplers, but the material was definitely different and they felt great. Even though they were more expensive, I bought them and returned the Dan Post from Sheplers. I'll be shopping again at Sheplers. They were great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Julius Beautiful pair of boots. My second pair of Dan Post boots. First pair has more mileage than most folks cars do. I probably should have gotten a pair a half size larger but wanted to break then in to really fit my foot. Worn twice now and they're starting to feel better, fit better. Noticed that there is some leakage in the foot/sole area where the glue evidently didn't stick but will seal this up myself. Not dissatisfied though. Would buy another pair. Received them on the date that they were due to be shipped. Maybe they should have taken another day or two to ensure everything was alright.

I had previously purchased boots manufactured by Dan Post, so I knew the fit would be just great, but the look of the boot and overall quality of these ostrich boots is highly recommendable.
The look great either with jeans or formal wear.
