This is by far the most beautiful pair of boots I have ever owned , comfortable too . Very well made , shine like a diamond in antique tan !!
The only con: the inner soles curled up and eventually came loose, new inner soles solved this problem !!

Beautiful looking, well made and extremely comfortable. Thank heaven Dan Post still makes a boot with a good looking toe, not to pointy and (thankfully) not square.

Looks great, runs a little big in size. Took a long time to receive. Back ordered twice. Took almost 3 months to receive my boots. They are nice enough to wear anywhere. Placed a pair of insoles inside and size was taken care of.

My first pair of cowboy boots, and man are they all so stylish. Eagerly awaiting their arrival (ordered from website, and received in five business days) I was utterly amazed on how fast my purchase arrived at my backdoor. Then I opened the box. All I can say is wow! The absence of color (midnight black) shined brighter than the moon that night. For a few minutes I was frozen in a semi comatose state of majestic admiration of such a beautiful creation (my new boots). A couple recovering minutes had passed in awe; gaining my thoughts I put them on. I felt taller and then my feet melted into the clouds of cushion they possess (my cowboy boots). Never owning a pair of such comfort and style, it was easy to convert to the wild side. The next day I dressed in a: black long sleeved shirt embroidered with paisleys, a pair of light blue-sky colored boot cut jeans, and my obsidian Dan Post lizard skin pointed-toe cowboy boots; then proceeded to the Joslyn Art Museum. Than the smiles began and the rest is the future.

This is my first pair of lizards to add to my exotic boot collection, which includes a pair of ostrich and stingray. Dan post always has just the right size for my rather wide feet. They are very comfortable. My only gripe was the right boot was tighter around the calf than the left boot. After a week of wearing them to break them in, they fit perfectly. The color I bought was the dark cherry, which really looks more like a black with just a hint of color when the lights hit them. Very elegant. Thank you Dan Post

I bought these lizard Dan Post boots for my boyfriend for Christmas. They are beautiful boots. The size was perfect. He absolutely loves these boots. They are very fine quality and he says are very comfortable. I got free shipping and that was great and they were at a good price. I would recomend buying these boots and buying from Sheplers to anyone. I also got them in about 5 days. Great Boots.

Great fit! comfortable from day one! The leather was recently stained and it has taken some time for the odor to subside and I had to keep the boots in another room until it diminished.
I look for opportunities to wear them because of the look and feel.
