Looks better than picture, very attractive boots. First day I wore to a 4 hour event, on my feet, totally comfortable, fit and break in perfect by time I got back home.

A while back I bought the gray ones because that filled a need in the boot closet. Then I kept looking at a couple more pair, which I've purchased. The most recent ones I purchased of this series are called "Rust" - and they're a nice backed- off red tone. Perfect for the Holidays. worn 'em with Levis, worn 'em with black. They look great, feel great... and folks love 'em. Pretty good combination.

these boots are beautiful. better in person then on screen. i gave these as a Christmas present. was really wowed when the box was opened. the color, and quality are great. red can be hard to judge when viewing on screen. but these boots really came through. not a fire engine red, but more subtle. like a candy apple red. don't be scared guys. these boots are far from feminine! may get a pair for myself.

This boot was praised by a fellow pedal steel guitar player and so I decided to try it. From the first moment I was amazed to realize that it is the most comfortable foot wear I have ever encountered. Its deer tanned leather is supple enough to allow for the ankle bending needed for steel guitar pedals. But beyond that the suppleness provides for flexibility of fit. (I have very wide and high-arched feet that are difficult to satisfy) I used to wear a well-known brand of walking shoe, famous for its comfort. But now when I go outside (or play pedal steel) it's in my Dan Post moc toe western boot.

Liked this boot's style but hard to find someone with the color I wanted. Found it in my size and color (not to mention the price) a no brainer.
I was surprised how quicly the order arrived and the boots fit like a...well as a boot should. I'll never have an issue purchasing on line with Sheplers.

I have recently bought 2 pair of Dan Post boots and i am very happy with them both. They are very comfortable to wear and they look good. My friends that have seen them on me were very impressed on how well they looked. I will be buying more Dan Post boots in the future.

I bought these boots back in 2010 and they have been nothing less than great. I'm an everyday boot wearer and quite a Connoisseur of cowboy boots and i own 4 pair of Dan Post boots ranging from cayman to ostrich leg to cowhide. The only thing that i can say thats not great about these boots is that the leather on the bottom is not very thick and over about two years you have to get them re-soled or half capped. but do that and just keep on wearing them!

They feel great once im able to get my foot in it. runs narrow in the with and are not true to color on website. The right boot is slightly darker than the left. I guess they would be perfect if you get black, but i felt like being different for once and got the tan ones witch look more like a peanut brittle color.
