Rated 5 out of 5 by Dan Post IF Dan Post makes it it's good.I own more than one pair of them , all look and fit very well. September 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sentimental Journey This is the first pair of cowboy boots that I've had in about 62 years, in other words, since I was 6 years old and riding the range with Hoppy and Gabby on Saturday mornings. This pair is just as comfortable and has the same great looks and leather smell as I remember from my first pair. Now, at 67, I'm getting used to walking on a high stirrup boot heel, all over again and loving every minute of it. Moreover, I'm the envy of every little bronc buster on my block. Yee-haw! Rated 4 out of 5 by Dan Post boot I really like these boots, I just recieved my third consecutive pair. My only complaint is that my last pair seemed to get worn out at the sole stitching sooner than I had figured. Good boots usually last me more than one year with everyday use. The last pair were slightly less than a year and the sole wore through. I'm giving the boots the benefit of doubt and trying again. I'm hopeing the sole holds up better on this pair. August 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boot at a great price The boot fit was perfect, boots were extremely comfortable. Virtually no break in period is required. August 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Look great, fit great My first try at purchasing boots from overseas, and these fit great and look great. July 25, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Good Materials, Poor Construction The actual boot itself held up well. The material is top-notch and has a nice smooth feel even if you aren't wearing longer "boot socks" with them. Unfortunately, the sole is put together like a cheaper, low-end boot. Maybe $175 isn't necessarily high-end, but I expect it to hold up for a little better than a cheaper $99 pair of Laredos. I wore these boots with light wear-and-tear into an office environment and the soles were coming off within the first 4-5 months. I'm very disappointed and will not be buying Dan Post again unless I find them for a discount price. July 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor Quality I was disappointed in the boot. I've had Dan Post before and felt they had better "fit" quality control. I can see no reason to buy a DP, might as well buy a cheaper boot... quality is the same. Looks like now you are paying for a name and not a quality boot! July 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dan Post. Mignon Leather Black cherry Cowboy boots 9D Excellent crafted boot, great value for the money, sizing spot on. Don,t know what an old gimmer like me,here in the West of Ireland, is doing wearing cowboy boots, but Ive always wondered how they,d feel and thats good and comfortable mounted or not.First shopped at Sheplers in Denver Colorado,on my way back from a ranch holiday run by some really nice people a couple of years ago. I placed my order Monday afternoon and was trying them on Thursday morning. that,s service. The carrier presented a bill for the import duty and extra delivery charge, that just about doubled Sheplers invoice.I still think these boots are worth it June 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Quality, Fine Leather, Fit Perfect to standard shoe size Being a Marine, I spit shine all of my foot wear, thus I appreciate the quality of the leather of this boot, I was easily able to bring up a base when applying a spit shine "approximately 4 hours", to this fine leather, and have had more than one positive comment, I have even been asked if they were patent leather even though they are dark brown. Mainly because of the comfort of a good Western Boot, as well as the in my opinion the "good looks", this is the second pair of Western Boots for me, and now have bought a black from Sheplers as well, now have Dark brown, black and tan western boots, and am well pleased with Quality, Price, and quick delivery from Sheplers. Rated 5 out of 5 by Most Comfortable and Rugged Shepler's made my buying experience pleasant and worthwhile. The savings were awesome for this great Dan Post pair of boots. I say to all try Shepler's and save $'s. May 10, 2013

    Answer:
The proper conversion for a UK 7 Is a US 71/2. This will be your proper shoe size. If you never had cowboy boots than order 1/2 size smaller to ensure proper fit.

I was wondering If the black Cherry is a good business suit wearing boot and I could wear with my brown and black suit. Is it style looking good enough for business meetings and travel? Also I am a Tony Lama man so first Dan Post pair and i wear a 10 1/2 EW so I dunno if i should order down or up in size I just like the reviews and the price. The look is what I'm going for I am just wondering if anyone wears them with suits on business?

    Answer:
Absolutely perfect with a good business or dress suit, I wear mine with a suit frequently, and have had many good compliments, and believe I have sent Sheplers at least a couple of customers that were impressed with mine, I also wear them with Boot leg jeans.

    Answer:
As long as there is a shine then wear them with a suit. Dan Post is distributed by the same company as Tony Lama and you will not need to change anything as for sizing.

    Answer:
If you are a western boot size 41 then you would wear a size 8. If that is a street shoe size then measure down 1/2 a size unless stated if boots run large or small, then order accordingly.

    Answer:
    Javier85,

Below is a link to our size conversion chart. It looks like you would wear an 8, but I also included another link that tells you how to properly fit your foot for boots so you can make sure.
