Rated 4 out of 5�by Timrrrr1401 Great Everyday boots! Comfortable all day wear the first day! Boots look great with a weathered, aged leather look. A bargain for the price. The gel flex sole is great , not slippery like leather soled boots when new. I really like the chocolate leather look. The fit was great and I usually find D width boots a bit wide for my narrow Mans foot. If I have any crticism it would be that the leather does not appear to be long lasting as it is a bit thin, but that is to be expected with these pseudo worn leather boots. Overall very satisfied, especially with the sole..which I hope will last. My first pair of Dan Post boots and not the last. January 18, 2012

The "high impact ultimate gel flex" at the ball of my feet has become horribly misshapen after only a week of wear, eliminating its cushioning effect and making it downright unconfortable. I'm not sure whether this was due to defective materials or poor workmanship, but they felt great for the first few days. It's a good-looking boot, just not one I want to wear anymore. January 2, 2012

Do you ever have cowboy boots in the size 10 1/2 E?

Every time I find a pair of boots with the style I like I look at the sizes and all that is close to 10 1/2 E is the 10 1/2 EE which I think will be too wide. This will be the first pair of cowboy boots that I buy and I'd like to make it from Sheplers. I want to make sure that they will fit snug but comfortably. I have a pair of work boots that are 10 1/2 E. They fit perfect so I'm hoping you have 10 1/2 E available in the cowboy boots I've looked at. Maybe it's a popular size. It seems that every boot I look at doesn't have a 10 1/2 E.

If you are worried that the EE width would be too wide, order the D width and have the boot stretched a bit to the E width. Usually boot manufacturers stabilize with a D or EE width. You would need to get a pair custom made or use Nocona brand boots to find an exact E width. Generally EE is fine if you have a E foot, it is possible you may need to use thicker socks. Boots from different manufacturers run differently. You can generalize that Dan Post boots will all fit the same, Justin, Ariat, etc by brand will all fit the same. IF it going to be your first pair of boots, I would try on a pair in a store by brand name first before getting from here.
