I was slightly concerned as to the colour of the peanut brittle, but it is almost identical to the picture. The boot is a real quality piece of work, and the eel leather looks and feels great. The stitching is quality throughout.
The fit was a bit tight across the foot, but nothing a night of dancing didn't fix. I get looks and complements on these boots whenever I wear them, and even convinced a couple of other people to get a pair.
Would definitely recommend them! But be sure to get some proper boot cream for keeping these beauties fresh.

I have purchased many pairs of cowboy boots from Shepler's, everything from pointed toe, to roper boots, to exotic boots. However, my recent purchase of the Dan Post Eel Leather Cowboy boots just blew me away! These boots are definitely one of the best quality and most comfortable pair of cowboy boots in my collection. I would highly recommend the Dan Post Eel Leather Cowboy boots if you are looking for an exotic boot with amazing comfort and fit. I ordered them to my true foot size and they fit great right out of the box.

Whoa! These boots rock. From day one, they fit perfectly and are now my favorite boots to wear. I am about to order a pair in black and hope they are as comfortable as the ones I have now! Highly recommend these boots from Dan Post.

In the last several months I have purchased several pairs of exotic boots. This is my first Dan Post boot. Very comfortable fit. Sheplers customer service has been great to work with. Highly recommended.

These boots look amazing. The first time I wore them out I received several comments. They are slightly narrow, but the length is a true fit. I haven't worn the boots long enough to determine how durable they are or how the material holds up, but so far so good. They are well worth the money up to this point.

The only issue so far is the size may be too wide. I purchased the same pair of boots about two years ago and they split on both outer sides near the little toes. This purchase I selected the extra wide to help eliminate the sides from splitting. I found wearing a pair of socks that were thicker helped my feet from slipping in the boot. I love the look and style, just a little concerned about the extra wide slipping issues.

that you go up a half size from normal and consider a wider width.
When they break in they might be better, but they are snug now.
I had another pair of Dan Post Lizard boots which were difficult at
first but now better.
