These boots run true to size as far as length, width at the ball of the foot and the heel. They run big in the arch area. I use an insole and they fit great now.
Love these boots. The leather is soft and beautiful and the boots are comfortable. I've had back surgery and walking on concrete, like when I go shopping, hurts my back with all of my other shoes. Just days after I got my boots I wore them for 4 hours of shopping and my back never hurt. That's the BEST thing for me.

Finally a boot for girls with skinnier calves. I ordered a 7 1/2 B and usually wear that or a 7. I have muscular, but thin legs. I also wanted to be able to fit my orthotics inside and the size fits great. Every boot I've tried leaves a huge gap around my calves and feels and looks so awkward so I was hopeful when I read the review that said this boot is tight in the calves. It's beautiful and comfortable- I wore it for about 7 hours a few days ago and I was on my feet for most of that and they still felt great at the end of the day. Got several compliments on them.

First ordered the right size...had to return for a 1/2 size smaller...the boot was still too loose in the arch area but really tight in the calf. You need really skinny legs for these! BTW my daughter is a dress size 6 so she is not a big girl...
