Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Boots Ever! These boots are absolutely gorgeous,i was so excited when they arrived and alot quicker than expected. They go with everything I put on and get complements everytime I wear them. I was a little apprehensive about the sizing but I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly, they didnt need wearing in at all and get more comfortable everytime I wear them! The aqua is a little brighter than it looks online but still much the same, would definatly recommend these boots!!! May 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful boots! It was like Christmas today when I opened the mail! These boots are amazing! The fit was spot on, the colours could be a little brighter but I love them!! So beautiful! May 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Thank You Dear Sheplers.........I have purchased two pair of boots from you in the last few months. Once online and once over the phone. Both were very easy. I got my order before I expected and had no problems at all. I am in sales and understand the importance hearing when you're doing things right instead of only when things go wrong. You folks are getting it right. So, keep up the good work! And I love my boots. April 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dan Post Blue Bird Wingtip Cowgirl Boots Very comfortable, and I love them...lots of compliments on them. April 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fun, Comfortable Boot This was my first purchase of Dan Post boots. I ccurrently own 3 pairs of Corrals, 1 pair of Dingo, and 1 pair Old Gringo. These are by far the most comfortable and cool boots that I own. I wore them on a recent trip to Texas and received many compliments. They were the only pair of footwear that I brought. No problems. I just ordered my second pair of Dan Post's and am hoping for the same results. March 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice look does not fit properly I already own a pair of dan post in a size 6.5. So I figured ordering the samel size and brand online was a safe bet. Unfortunately this boots are pretty big, requiring an insert and still not really comfortable. It would cost me to much to ship them back so. The boots are beautiful but I am not really satisfied with this purchase considering the money I spent. March 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love my Dan Post boots! These boots are gorgeous! I had to buy a half size smaller that what I usually wear (I usually wear a 7 1/2, but had to reorder a size 7). They are beautiful and feel great! March 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The most gorgeous boots I have ever seen! I first saw these boots at a boutique shop in New Orleans in November of 2012 and wanted them so badly, but unfortunately (or fortunately as it turned out) they didn't have my size.. They told me the boots would come in, in about a week. A week went by, and they didn't come in... I lusted after them so much, I decided to look for them online instead, and I'm so glad I did, because that's when I found Sheplers and have been hooked ever since... The price at the boutique was significantly more than Sheplers. I ordered them immediately online. They must be popular because they had to be special ordered and I didn't receive them until January 2013... In the meantime, I had ordered and received 6 other pairs of boots from Sheplers. I ordered my exact size, and when they arrived, they fit right out of the box and are the most comfortable boots I own. They have stretched a little and are almost loose, but fit great. I can wear them with socks and even bare foot, they are that comfortable. I get more compliments on these boots than anything I have ever owned. Now other people are lusting after my boots! A great buy for the quality and workmanship that went into these boots. February 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this boot! Colors are wonderful; fit is great; very cool presentation. What more could you ask for? February 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good boots ain't cheap & cheap boots ain't good These boots challenge that axiom! Top of the line quality, design, workmanship, materials, fit - at an affordable price. A girl can't have too many boots! These should be in everyone's collection. February 26, 2013

    Boot size conversion

I really love these boots and want to buy them but I'm nervous about boot size conversion (live in Australia). I have a 25 cm foot (9.8 inches). I own a pair of Ariat round toe cowgirl boots which are US size 7.5 C and Eur size 38 W. The Ariats are a very comfy snug fit but I definitely wouldn't go any tighter. Please help as I just love these boots!

    Gday there :)
I totally know... when I fell in luv with these boots, I was so nervous about the sizings esp as returning them is so expensive.
    Im a 9.5 but norm a 10 Aussie size...25.5cms long and 10cm wide.
The size 10US does fit beautifully...I may have fitted into a 9.5 (as I have one foot half a size smaller than the other)..but then, I couldnt guarantee how they wouldve been with socks??
Coudlnt find anywhere in OZ that had these boots in this style...let alone anywhere near this price! Also..Sheplers postage was wicked fast!! A coupla working days!!!
    Hope this helps x

    Answer:
I am also from Australia and I struggled with the same problem and thought id risk it, I am so glad i did! I love these boots and they fit perfectly. I am also a EUR 38 and a size 7M in Ariat boots with the snip toe and so ordered the same(US7M) for these boots and they fit much the same. Maybe if you are still worried you could try on a snip toe Ariat boot and order the same size, i hope this helps.

Hi, I also wear a US 7.5 US and I had to order a size US 7. I had first ordered the US 7.5, but they were a little bit big, so I reordered the US 7 and they fit perfectly! Hope this helps!

    Answer:
    Hello,

I can't blame you for being nervous, but perhaps I can help a bit? I, myself have wide feet as well, however, I also have a narrow heel. I own several pairs of Ariat-which are known to run wider- and though I am a 6.5, I buy a 7. My wide little feet can't fit past the shaft of a 6.5, but my heel has quite a bit of "wiggle" in the heel of the boot in a 7. It's just the way my feet are and I'm too impatient to have something custom or special ordered. So my advice to you:

If an Ariat US size 7.5 is comfy but snug, and these Dan Posts are a pointed toe and not square toed, I would go up to a US size 8 or perhaps 8.5. I would also gather that you will not be wearing these pretty boots mucking out horse stalls or even riding horseback, so if the worst is they are a little loose #which could be concerning if you were participating in the latter#, just don a pair of thick socks and keep your feet warm while you wear them. Happy Shopping!

    Answer:
Hmm, this is an interesting question. I have 8 pairs of boots that are high-shafted as well as several pairs of boot-cut jeans. I also don't have skinny calves as mine are rather muscular. I have never had the concern you are asking about. Without knowing what brand your jeans are or what kind of denim they are made of-which may be something to consider-I would gather that perhaps the problem lies with the jeans chosen when the boots are worn? Truly, ma'am, it's only a guess as I cannot see you. With that being said, I would highly recommend Wrangler Booty-Up Jeans or any western jean that Sheplers sells as all of them are made to wear with boots. Hope it helps and happy shopping!

    High Instep

I have a very high instep and often have problems with not being able to get my foot down into a boot if the throat is too narrow. Has anyone had that difficulty with these boots? Would love to buy them but am nervous.
