My wife ordered this hat for me for christmas.. And have worn it almost everyday. I have had lots of compliments about it. And I truly love it and have no complants color and craftmans ship are great, and the size was perfect. I plan to buy the silver one. I would recomend this cowboy hat to anyone.

A truly beautiful piece of craftsmanship. It runs a bit snug, but a little time and patience with a hat-jack and a kettle makes it fit like a glove. I used the hat-jack to get another ~1mm front to back, and then just wore it on my head and steamed it to form fit the upper part of the crown up on my forehead. Quality is what you'd expect from one of the classic hatters. But the sizing is tricky, especially if you go by Resistol's own hat sizing chart, which seems WAY off to me. According to it, I'd be 7-1/8 or 7 and the 7-1/4 required some work to get right. I bought a 7-3/8, but returned it because it was too big, so the 7-1/4 was definitely the right size, just required some work to get it to fight. But now it's molded to my head. Everyone's head is different though; I seem to have a SUPER long oval head, as I still have a bit of room on the sides, but it stays on well.
Fit is tricky, as I'm sure anyone who's ever bought a fitted hat knows, but that's to be expected. Other than that, the quality is truly superb. A "lifetime" hat.

This was a gift for a friend. The quality was excellent and exceeded my expectations. the instructions on how to measure the head size was perfect. I would definitely order another hat from them
