Old Gringo Boot Co. was founded on a single goal: creating western footwear that combined the best materials with the skills of exceptional craftsmen. Each boot is handmade following an incredible 110-step process. To meet the rigorous demands of their designs, Old Gringo produces and tans its own leathers, developing exclusive textures, colors, and finishes. The Bonnie cowgirl boot is just that, a bonnie lass! This cowgirl boot features a distressed leather foot under a 13" matching leather shaft. Fancy wingtip, heel counter, and collar. Sanded leather sole. 1 5/8" cowboy boot heel. Single stitched welt. Snip toe profile. Shaft circumference is 13.5" (based on a size 7.5B).

Please note, boots will come shipped to you slightly crumpled. You may notice that the toes of the boots, even with the weight of your feet, will be turned upwards - more so than standard cowboy boots. Not to worry. This is part of the finishing process and vintage character of these boots. When you slip your feet into them, they'll feel like you've had them for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my Bonnies! These were my first pair of Old Gringos and made me fall in love with the brand. I order a half size larger because I have big calves for my small feet. I wear ankle length cotton athletic socks with them and get the perfect fit. They're like wearing slippers all day. They're beautiful with dresses, under jeans and over top skinny jeans. Love love love them!!! I wear them to work as well at out at night. Before I switched to Old Gringo, my feet would hurt the next day after standing all night in boots. Not anymore! November 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love love these boots! Great quality boots that will be an enduring and unique style statement. Had to make the $$ leap and save up for these boots but so glad I did! January 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best boots I ever had! These boots are the best boots I've ever had. Very pricey but I just love them. They are beautiful indeed! They are true to size for me. It is kinda spacious by the toe area making others think that they run big but I think that since the boots are tapered to a narrow point, it is just right so that the pointy end doesn't cramp my toes making the fit perfect. I also know that its a perfect fit cause when I go down the stairs, the back of my feet or heel feels just right against the boot for if I get a half size or a full size smaller, it would sure hurt that could scrape my skin off. I am excited to get another pair of Old Gringo's next time I am ready for my next pair. December 9, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by love my boots i love my boots!! as soon as i put my foot in them for the very first time, it was as if they were custom made for me!!! looking forward to wearing them all of the time!!! thanks!!! October 18, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fun, vintage looking boots I never order boots online but the specs were well written and photos provided easy to see all details of these boots. (I like wooden peg construction, and these have it, and I could see it.) Very cute boots, as described, unfortunately too big for me and I am a true size 10/european 40. All of my other cowboy and riding boots (except my Ariats because I know they run big) are 10s. I've sent them back to exchange for the 9.5, and cannot WAIT to get them as I know they'll be perfect, and probably become my favorite cowgirl boots! September 10, 2011

Care Question

How do you care for boots with embroidery on them? Certainly, it's not possible to polish and/or weatherproof them? Just curious. Love these boots, but I worry about how to keep them in tip-top shape.

Thanks. :)

Answer:
Bootstar7,
You can use Bick 4 on the boots. Just rub around the embroidery. It will soak in and help preserve the leather. This will not hurt the embroidery/hardware at all.

One More Question

But I'm a bit confused--practically the entire boot is embroidered, so how would it be possible to rub Bick 4 around the embroidery? When you say that Bick 4 won't hurt the embroidery, are you saying that it can be rubbed over the entire boot, including the embroidery?

Thanks. :)
