    Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful jacket, perfect with matching boots! Love my jacket! Matches the boots I had gotten earlier this year. I also got it a size larger as it seems to run a bit small. Long in front short in back with great buttons! My only concern is the shiney coating on it, it seems to be peeling off in the spots that bend a lot, like little crusty flakes. You can see the shine in the picture i took. I wore it in 20 degree weather and it seemed to keep me pretty warm from place to place. It is very well made and in the 2 hrs I wore it out I got at least 3 complements from strangers. They told me it was Pre water proofed but I redid it just to be sure with the same spray I use on my boots. And I had no problems with darkening it dried fine.     Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful jacket! First of all, I love that it is not suede, which is impossible to clean to my satisfaction in light colors like this. And I want to be clear, the description may call it brown, but I would not. It is a bright golden tan, and will go perfectly with a pair of Corral boots I have in the same color. I did not buy the matching boots, but the ones I have, the same golden tan with dk. brown inlays, look just as great with it. I have not really worn it yet except to try on, because I bought it too late for the colder seasons. So I cannot yet report if there are any problems with getting rain on it, etc. But I will say the fit was fine, although I did buy a size larger as it runs snug. It has great-looking details, like the asymmetrical zipper opening and the beautiful wings/heart pattern on the back. May 23, 2012

    They told me it was, but I used the same spray I used on the boots just to be sure and it worked great, it was just a leather boot spray and dried great no color change.

    Well, to be honest, it has not yet got cold enough to wear mine, so I can't rightly say. My strong feeling is, no, not waterproof, but likely to resist a sprinkle here or there. OTOH, I would not want to risk getting it really drenched in a downpour, since it is a beautiful golden tan color which might stain or darken up. So, to be safe, I would say, wear it if snow is on the ground, but not if it is snowing out. And If it starts to sprinkle while wearing it, be prepared to take cover quick if it starts to pour.
