I've used boot straps on plain as well as fancy boots just to add a little "lift" and make them look different from the rest of the herd. I only wish they came in a larger variety of colors. Red anyone?

Wasn't sure exactly what it was when I ordered it. Turns out it tightens around the ankle so your feet don't slide around while you're walking. Perfect for a city cowboy like myself! Now these boots are definitely made for walking :)

I ordered these not knowing if I'd like them, but I am SO glad I did. I have one pair of Laredo boots that are always my last choice to wear because although they are comfortable and have heels (because even at 5'9" I love to be taller and I don't have to worry about how high my heels are because my husband is 6'6") they are just plain jane boots.....until I received these Concho straps.....these straps take these boots to a whole new level. Heck, I even feel different when I wear these boots with the Concho straps on!! People notice them and compliment them. And, as a bonus, these straps go well on my "everyday" riding boots giving them a little pizazz as well. The color matched the Laredo boots perfectly and coordinates with my everyday boots; now I want to find some in black, bone and the other colors I have in my sizeable boot collection!! You can't go wrong with these.

Well made straps. Old boots new boots all boots come alive with these bad boys. Easy on and easy off, and option to remove the under foot chain if you so desire. I even use these straps, which are brown on my black boots, oh...baby brings out my extra wild side. My request would be for these concho straps to be available in black..yahoo, lets ride.

This is a really nice addition to a pair of boots, it really sets them apart from the ordinary pair. they would liven up a pair of old boots. Bought these to put on a pair of new boots I bought my wife for Christmas, now she couldn't weat the boots without them
